Ways We Can Work TogetherCompassionate care for the woman who's done with the all-or-nothing, rigid rules, shame spirals, and attempts at “moderation”
1:1 Nutrition Counseling
If you're tired of starting over every Monday and ready for something that actually lasts — this is for you. The rules haven't worked. You don't need another diet. You need a knowledgeable, compassionate guide who can help you rebuild your relationship with food, body, and self — gently, and for good.
In our 1:1 work together, we'll move at your pace. As a Registered Dietitian and Certified Intuitive Eating Counselor, I bring the science of nutrition and the soul of compassionate care into every session. We'll explore what's really driving your patterns, untangle the rules that haven't served you, and build a way of eating and living that's truly your own. No rigid meal plans. No "do's and don'ts." Just real, evidence-based guidance and a steady cheerleader in your corner every step of the way.
I specialize in: disordered eating, eating disorders, women’s health, body image distress, Health At Every Size (HAES)® approach, general health concerns such as chronic disease management or prevention (i.e. type 2 diabetes, pre-diabetes, cardiovascular disease, digestive health) as well as experience with GLP-1 use and individuals who are considering or have undergone bariatric surgery.
Benefits…
-
You've done the starting over. The Monday resets, the "this time it'll stick," the shame when it doesn't. Together we get to the root of why the cycle keeps pulling you back in, so you can finally step off it instead of trying to willpower your way through another round.
-
Food shouldn't cost you so much mental energy. We'll unpack the “food noise” and the rules you've absorbed over the years (the ones you didn't even choose!) and replace the constant negotiating with something a lot more peaceful and a lot kinder.
-
This work goes deeper than what's on your plate. We'll look at the beliefs underneath—about worth, control, and what you think you have to earn—and start building a relationship with yourself that isn't conditional on how "good" you were today.
-
Not a finish line. A baseline. Consistent energy, food that actually satisfies you, and a body you can live in without fighting it every single day.
-
I'm a registered dietitian, so yes — you'll get actual evidence-based nutrition information. But it'll come without the fear-mongering, and it'll be shaped around your real life: your schedule, your family, your budget, your brain.
Includes…
-
We start with a deep dive into your history — with food, with dieting, with your body, and with everything else that's shaped how you eat. From there I build a plan (with you) that's actually yours, not a cookie cutter AI template with your name on it.
-
Real time with me, at whatever pace fits your life and your capacity right now. Sessions are conversational and collaborative—you set the direction, I bring the expertise and the questions that keep you feeling motivated and empowered.
-
The hard moments rarely happen during our scheduled hour. Message me when something comes up—a tough meal, a spiraling thought, a win worth celebrating—and you won't be waiting two weeks to be heard.
-
You'll get materials built for what you're working on right now, whether that's a reflection exercise, a practical strategy, or something to help you make sense of what's happening in your body.
-
My goal is to help you feel safe enough to say the thing you've never said out loud. Nothing you bring here is too messy, too shameful, or too far gone—you'll never be told your body is a problem to be solved.
-
This isn't a program you're handed and left to figure out. I'm with you the whole way—adjusting, encouraging, and holding the vision for you on the days you can't quite hold it yourself.
Wellness Speaking & Workshops
Your audience deserves more than a generic wellness talk! They deserve a speaker who meets them where they are, makes them feel genuinely seen, and sends them home with tools they'll actually use. Whether you're planning a corporate wellness day, a women's retreat, a community event, or a professional conference, Lindsay brings warmth, clinical credibility, and real-world relatability to every stage she steps onto.
As a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist, Certified Intuitive Eating Counselor and SHE Recovers® Professional, Lindsay speaks on some of today's most relevant — and most underserved — women's wellness topics. From “grey area drinking” and sober curiosity to intuitive eating, body image, and building a healthy relationship with food, every talk is thoughtfully crafted, evidence-based, and delivered in the approachable, judgment-free voice your audience will remember long after the event ends. Virtual and in-person bookings available.

My approach is weight-neutral or weight inclusive, which simply means I believe that weight is just one piece to our health puzzle and weight is not a behavior. It is a metric. We know that intentional weight-loss diets have a 95% percent failure rate, often cause long-term harm, and can lead to the development of disordered eating and/or clinical eating disorders. This is why I take a harm reduction approach. I meet you where you are, hold space for your desire of weight loss or dissatisfaction with your current weight, and help you navigate caring for your here and now body.
In our work together, we pay attention to the things that actually move the needle on how you feel (and your overall health): nourishing your body consistently, check in with relevant labs/testing, tuning into hunger and fullness cues, letting go of the food rules that have been taking up so much mental space, improving self-trust + confidence, and building sustainable, healthy nutrition habits that align with you and your values.
Bodies do what they do when you stop fighting them. What you'll gain here is a quieter relationship with food and a lot more room in your head for the rest of your life. -
Intuitive eating is a term that gets tossed around a lot and often incorrectly. Intuitive eating is an evidence-based framework with hundreds of studies to date showing positive impacts on health. It’s a framework (not a diet plan) for rebuilding trust with your body: learning to eat in response to your actual hunger, fullness, and satisfaction instead of a set of external rules. It's not "the hunger-fullness diet" and it's definitely not the antidote to having any structure. Think of it as coming home to a way of eating you were born knowing, before diet culture talked you out of it.

Handing you a rigid plan would just be another set of rules to follow and eventually feel like you've failed at, and you've probably had enough of those. Instead, we work on helping you become the expert on your own body, so you can nourish yourself with confidence whether you're at a dinner party, on a hard day, or staring into the fridge at 9pm. I'll absolutely offer guidance, ideas, and gentle structure when it's helpful (and especially if you are early in recovery from chronic dieting or an eating disorder)— but my ultimate goal is helping you become the expert of planning meals and knowing how much + what to eat to help you feel your best, mentally and physically.

Not at all, and I'm so glad you asked! You don't need a diagnosis, a rock-bottom moment, or a "good enough" reason to want a better relationship with food. If you're exhausted by the mental noise around eating, tired of starting over every Monday, or just sensing there's a more peaceful way to live in your body — you're exactly who I work with. If you think you may have an active eating disorder, I am happy to meet you where you are, go at a pace that feels safe for you, and determine appropriate level of care or support that you may need. I do specialize in eating disorders, however, you do not have to have an eating disorder diagnosis to work with me.
-
Absolutely and I’m so glad you asked! While I do specialize in “grey-area drinking,” nutrition support in substance use recovery, and helping women navigate cutting back or quitting drinking—I enjoy helping ALL women who simply want a healthier relationship with food and their body—one that feels intuitive, sustainable, and satisfying!

I believe you! and here's the thing: it's not that you “failed” all those programs. They were designed in a way that almost everyone "fails" eventually, and then hands you the blame. This is different because we're not adding another plan on top of the pile. We're getting underneath the whole exhausting cycle — the rules, the guilt, the all-or-nothing — and building something that doesn't require willpower to maintain. The goal isn't a stricter version of what hasn't worked. It's freedom from needing it at all.
-
Warm, honest, and a lot less clinical than you might be picturing. Our sessions feel more like a conversation with a knowledgeable friend than a lecture from someone in a white coat. We'll talk about what's really going on with food and your body, untangle the rules that have been taking up so much head space, and move at a pace that feels safe for you. You can come exactly as you are — no perfect eating, no homework guilt, no judgment. Ever.
-
Currently, I do not. If you have an HSA or FSA card, those can often be used — and I'm happy to provide a “Super Bill” you can submit to your insurance for possible out-of-network reimbursement.
